A calendar feed is a private, read-only web address for your timetable. Calendar apps such as Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook subscribe to it. In the app, the feature is called Calendar (iCal) Feed, and each feed is called a token.

To create or stop a feed, see How to sync your timetable to your calendar.

Feed details

Each feed in the list shows:

Detail Description
Name The Token Name (optional) you entered. Without a name, the feed is called “Default”.
Created The date you created the feed.
Last accessed The date a calendar app last read the feed. Shown after the first read.
Feed URL The web address to paste into your calendar app. Select Copy feed URL to copy it.

Web address

The address has this shape:

https://<Soniq Studio address>/v1/ical/<your profile ID>/<token>/calendar.ics

  • The token is a long random code. It is the only thing that protects the feed, so anyone with the full address can read it.
  • Each feed has its own token. You can have more than one feed, for example one for each device.
  • The file format is iCalendar (.ics), the standard format for calendar subscriptions.
